Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was fourteen years old. In addition to BJJ training She also took classes in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd was able to take down three opponents in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated had been defeated in the first five minutes. She then went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. It left a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from this loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in 2015 after signing with Invicta FC. At InvictaFC 11, she had her very first professional fight. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first fight as a bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability defeated McGill, and she was able to end her third round by TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd had missed weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. Aspen won her fight via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Her UFC debut came on UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round later in the 2nd. She maintained her dominance as she picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the opening round, and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first match she had in any major capacity. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision and the Fight of the Night award came to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her losing streak. After a short break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was a unanimous decision.
