Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell, born on March 27, 1970 in New York City at a height of 5'9" She is a well-known American actress. Her credits include her character Dr. Juliet Burke from ABC television's Lost series, as well as FBI Agent Erica Evans for V. The Escape Clause and Gia. Mitchell stars alongside Eric Kripke in the television series Revolution on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell, her stepfather and Josephine Marian Mitchell are both attorneys in Dallas. Mitchell along with her mother moved from the city of their birth to Dallas Texas, where she married Joseph Mitchell. Mitchell was a student at Booker T. Washington High School in Dallas, Texas. She graduated in 1991 from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and she was also enrolled in the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for six years at the Dallas Theater Center and a one-year stint in the Encore Theater.
